Er stammt wahrscheinlich aus Mirecourt und scheint Instrumente aller Art gebaut zu haben. Seine Violinen sollen von sehr gewöhnlicher Arbeit sein. Mir ist er nur als der Wiederhersteller eines Clavecins bekannt geworden. Von seinem Leben weiss man auch nur, dass er 1751 geschworener Meister der Pariser Lautenmacherzunft war.
