BRANDNER, (BRANDTNER), Kaspar Born 1883 Mittenwald Germany. Studied under F. Baader in the Mittenwald School of Violin Making. Worked in Landshut for G. Kriner and Munich for Fiorini before returning to Mittenwald 1904-1927. Medals awarded at Nurenberg 1906. Stradivari and Guarneri models. Fine quality. Also maker of plucked instruments.
