John Dilworth
BRAUN, August Hermann Born 1869, died 1939 Markneukirchen Germany. Pupil of K. H. Kessler up to 1882. Joined the firm of Karl Gottlieb Schuster in 1896 and established in the Klingenthalerstrasse from 1921 where he was chief workman. Good quality copies of Tyrolean models with rather crudely-coloured spirit varnish. Also maker of plucked instruments. Gebaut im Jahre 1903 / vom Aug.
