BRAUN, Gustav Born 1846 Erlbach, died 1896 Lübeck Germany. Son of August Wilhelm Braun (I), above. Worked in Dusseldorf from 1869, Dresden 1872, Hamburg 1891, and Lübeck 1895. Rather more ambitious replications of classical models than those of his father. Chiefly occupied as a repairer and few of his own instruments are known.
