Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Er war der Sohn eines Musikers, von dem er wohl die ersten Unterweisungen
erhielt. später kam er zu einem Schreiner in die Lehre und wurde
1829 auch als Schreinermeister zum Bürger aufgenommen. Er verlegte sich
jedoch ganz auf den Instrumentenbau und brachte es darin zu bemerkenswerther
Geschicklichkeit, so dass er für eine Geige gerne 100 fl. bekam. Mit Vorliebe
baute er jedoch Guitarren und war stolz darauf, hiefür von Paganini belobt
worden zu sein. Sehr geschätzt waren auch seine übersponnenen Saiten.
