John Dilworth

CASTAGNINO, Giuseppe Born 1883, died 1975 Cogorno, Chiavari, Genoa Italy. Active from 1906. Trained briefly with G. Fiorini in Munich in 1913. Medals at Milan, Turin, and Venice. Fine and very consistent work based on Stradivari, with good golden-orange varnish. Branded in several places internally and externally.
