Ein seiner Zeit geschätzter Geigenmacher. Der älteste Zettel, den ich von
ihm kennen lernte, rührte von 1730 her; in den Hofrechnungen (Münchner
Kreisarchiv) kommt er noch 1776 vor. Er erinnert in seiner Arbeit an Alletsee,
dessen Schüler er gewesen sein könnte,
und bevorzugt ein hochgewölbtes Modell. Sein Lack ist meist braun, scheint jedoch
nachgedunkelt zu sein.
