Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+

Einer der besseren französischen Geigenmacher im Stile von Nicolas. Er
stammte wahrscheinlich aus Mirecourt und hat gute Geigen gemacht, die durch
hübsches Holz, saubere Arbeit und ihren reichen, dunkelrothen oder gelben Lack,
sowie den oft vollen, süssen Ton auffallen. Er brannte in seine Violinen häufig
die Buchstaben N. C. ein.
