John Dilworth+

DAVIS, William Born 1790, died 1849 London UK. Nephew of Richard Davis, above. London dealer. Employed Maucotel and others, working from the 31 Coventry Street address of his uncle.

George Hart+

Succeeded Richard Davis in the business now carried on by Edward Withers.

William Meredith Morris+

Cousin and successor to the preceding Richard Davis. Did not make many instruments. I have not seen any of his work. He employed Charles Maucotel and others to work for him. He sold the business in 1846 to Edward Withers, and retired to Bussage.

Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+

Gleich seinem Oheim Richard D., dessen Geschäft er 1836 übernahm, fast
nur Händler und Reparateur. Er wohnte Coventry Street. Die neuen Geigen,
die er bauen liess, waren Maucotels Arbeit. Im December 1846 verkaufte er
das Geschäft an Edward Withers und zog sich in seinen Heimatsort Bussage
zurück.
