Opened a shop in Passage de l’Arque (later at the Hotel de Ville), Lyons with C. Resuche in the following year, but soon moved to Marseilles, taking over the shop of M. Richelme, in partnership with Palanque. Joined by his brother Paul 1901; established at Marseilles 1897-1926. Fine work in the style of J. B. Schüler von Paul Blanchard in Lyon. Im Jahre 1896 machte er sich in
Lyon selbständig und verlegte seine Werkstatt am 1. April 1897 nach Marseille,
wo er M. Richelmes Nachfolger wurde. Er baut nach Stradivari, Guarneri
und Amati und ist als Reparateur geschätzt. Sein Lack (fetter Öllack) ist
nach dem Recept J. B. Vuillaumes zusammengesetzt. Auf seinem Zettel ist
u. A. das Wappen von Marseille angebracht.
