John Dilworth

DROUIN, Charles Born 1872, died 1931 Mirecourt France. Son and pupil of Etienne Drouin, below, and successor to Baur-Bourdot. Took over the name and business of ‘Chipot-Vuillaume’ 1897. Commercial manufacturer of instruments made on various classical forms, including Panormo and Maggini. Shaded red-gold alcohol varnish, thin texture. Branded internally: ‘Drouin’.
