John Dilworth
ELLERSIECK, Albert Born 1843 Magdeburg, d.c.1914 Berlin Germany. Self-taught. Worked in Rostock, Mecklenburg 1878-1892, Greiz, Thuringia 1895, and finally in Berlin from 1900. Awarded several exhibition medals. Good workmanship, although often slightly oversized. Also made plucked instruments. Albt. Ellersieck / Atelier für Kunstbau von Streichinstrumenten / Rostock i/M. 1892.
