John Dilworth
FONTANINI, Aristide Born 1894 Cremona, Worked from 1921 Rome Italy. Son and pupil of Andrea Fontanini, above. Director of the Violin-making School at Salò 1946-1953. Preoccupied with research and teaching work; made few instruments himself. Instruments bearing his label credited to Bianchini and Castellotti.
