George Hart+
Son of William Forster [Jnr]. He was a very good workman: he made but few instruments.
William Meredith Morris+
He was born Dec. 14, 1788, and died Oct. 8, 1824. He was a pupil of his father and also of his grandfather, and his work has much the same characteristics as that of the former. He made only about twenty instruments bearing his own label, the others were made for dealers.
Cecie Stainer+
Eldest son of William Forster (1764-1824), b. Dec. 14, 1788, London; d. Oct. 8, 1824, Cheltenham. Pupil of both his father and grandfather ; he also worked with Thomas Kennedy. Probably only made twelve or fifteen instruments: two or three violins and one violoncello were well made, the work being beautifully finished ; the others, made to supply wholesale orders, are inferior.
