Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Schüler von Ig. Joh. Bucher, machte sich im Jahre 1878 in seiner Vaterstadt
selbstständig und baut jetzt nur nach dem Stradivari-Modell, nachdem er früher
auch Amati copirte. Er verwendet Oel- und Spirituslack; er gilt als Kenner
und war Juror gelegentlich der Wiener Musik- und Theater-Ausstellung. Er
besitzt Preise der Chicagoer und Pariser Weltausstellung und von 20 anderen
Ausstellungen, hat einen Tonregulator für Streichinstrumente
construirt und baut auch Concertzithern
mit freischwingenden Stegen und ohne
Brücke (seine Erfindung).
