Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Vielleicht der begabteste Geigenmacher aus seiner Familie. Er arbeitete
nach einem eigenen Modell, und die echten »Glass-Geigen« waren eine Zeit lang
so beliebt als echte »Hopf-Geigen«. Er arbeitete sehr sauber und erzielte einen
sehr guten Ton. Er machte viele billige Violinen, einzelne aber werden seinem
Namen dauernd Ehre machen. Auch seine Sohne Johann und F. A. sind Geigenmacher
geworden.
