Einer der besten Hamburger Lauten- und Geigenmacher, über den merkwürdiger
Weise im Hamburger Archiv nichts zu finden ist. Er scheint das
Bürgerrecht nicht erworben zu haben. Er war vielleicht ein Schüler Tielke’s,
an den seine Arbeiten erinnern. Eine Laute und eine Archilaute von ihm aus
den Jahren 1700 und 1712 waren in South Kensington ausgestellt. Eine Geige
aus dem Jahre 1754 führt der Selhof’sche Auctionskatalog auf. Eine Laute mit vier einzelnen und vier doppelten Saiten besitzt das Musikhistorische Museum
in Stockholm (No. 87).
