John Dilworth

GRULLI, Pietro Born 1822, died 1898 Cremona Italy. Amati-derived model. Poorly finished work: awkward and imprecise outline, purfling not smoothly inlaid. Head quickly carved, reminiscent of Guadagnini. Large soundholes without fluting. Orange-brown spirit varnish.
