Juan (I) Guillami
Barcelona, 1702–1769
Slender outline, somewhat Neapolitan, with long, rather straight ‘c’ bouts. Similarly long slender soundholes, set quite upright. Amatisé arching, a little pinched. Head also recalls the best work of the Gaglianos, with a long pegbox and small neat volute. Often the chamfer is picked out in black, l\u{2026} — John Dilworth
