KANTUSCHER, Joseph (KANTUSAR, Jozef ) Born 1923 Ljutomer Slovenia, Worked Mittenwald Germany. Naturalised German in 1943. Diploma from the Mittenwald School of Violin Making 1949. Established independently there in 1956. Prolific output of fine violins, while building a great reputation as a teacher and expert. Appointed Director of the Mittenwald Museum Society.
