LANGONET, Charles Frank Born 1888 London, died 1963 Rottingdean, Sussex UK. Son and pupil of Charles François Langonet, above. Also trained in Mirecourt with Audinot, returning to London to join his father at Hills. Worked there as a restorer and maker, many fine copies of classical instruments bearing the Hill label. Established independently in London from 1946 as C. F. Langonet & Son, working with his son Alfred Charles until retiring to Rottingdean, Sussex c.1960.
