Jean Charles Worked circa. 1776-1823. Established at ‘Au dieu de l’Harmonie’, rue du Four Saint-Germain. Succeeded by his nephew C. Martin after 1823. Known for violins and double basses.

A maker of violins in Paris in 1776 at the sign ” Au Dieu de l’Harmonie” ; worked in the rue du Four Saint-Germain till 1783, and was succeeded by his nephew, Guillaume Martin, in 1822.
Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Er begründete 1776 sein Geschäft, wohnte bis 1783 in der Rue du Four
St. Germain und hatte das Ladenschild »Au Dieu de l’Harmonie’. Er machte
zwar Violinen, war aber mehr Händler und Reparateur. Sein Nachfolger war
sein Neffe Guill. Martin.
