Da seine Geigen mehr an die Mittenwalder wie an die Füssener Schule erinnern,
dürfte er ein Eingewanderter gewesen sein. Seine Arbeit ist übrigens
oft handwerksmässig, das Holz ohne Sorgfalt gewählt und jetzt meist vom
Wurm zerfressen. Er machte hauptsächlich Violoncelli und Bässe. Es giebt aber auch Instrumente von sehr vortheilhaftem Äussern und gutem Ton von ihm.
