A pupil of Omobono Stradivari, who worked both in Ferrara and Bologna. His instruments are of good workmanship, with pale red varnish.

Schüler des Omobono Stradivari. Er scheint Anfangs in Bologna gearbeitet
zu haben, bevor er sich in Ferrara niederliess. Eine lombardische »Chitaronne«
von ihm besitzt das Museum Kraus in Florenz. Seine Geigen sind recht gut,
namentlich aber seine Violen. Eine kleine Viola d’amore von sehr sauberer Arbeit befand sich 1895 in Wiener Privatbesitz. In einer zehnsaitigen Viola findet sich der nebenstehende Zettel:
