bis 1893 arbeitete er in Frankfurt a. M., Hamburg, Leipzig und Dresden etc.
und liess sich 1893 in Milwaukee als Geigenmacher nieder. Er ahmt italienische
Meister nach und verwendet einen Spirituslack, den er mit ätherischen Ölen und weichen Harzen ansetzt.
