Ein sehr talentvoller und geschickter Geigenmacher. Leider war auch er
gezwungen, seine beste Zeit im Dienste der Händler zu verbringen, und später
hinderte ihn andauernde Kränklichkeit, sein ganzes Können einzusetzen. Es
giebt jedoch einige recht gute Violinen von ihm, und nur diese tragen seinen Namen.
