Ein Meister dieses Namens soll um 1720 in Brescia gelebt haben. Einen
Beleg dafür konnte ich bisher nicht finden, wohl aber bin ich geneigt, diesen
Namen für ein Seitenstück zu »Acevo« und »Sapino« zu halten; mezzobusto
heisst Bruststück, und wenn dieses Wort z. B. auf der inneren Decke gestanden
hat, so musste es nicht gerade den Namen des Verfertigers bezeichnen.
