A maker in Paris about 1780-95, at the sign of “A la Melodie,” 255, rue St.-Honore. In the Paris Conservatoire Collection is a little guitar dated 1781. He also made five-stringed viols, and violins.

Pariser Conservatorium (No. 1062). Er wohnte schon 1778 Rue Saint-Honoré
No. 255 und hat vorzugsweise fünfsaitige Violen, Lauten, Mandolinen und Guitarren gemacht. Sein Lack verdient Lob. Seine Geschäftsempfehlung
lautet: »renommé pour les guitares en bateau dont les avantages sont de
réfléchir, le son au dehors d’une manière plus sensible, et pour faire d’excellentes
quintes et violons.«
