John Dilworth

MUNCHER, Romedio Born 1874, died 1940 Cremona Italy. Worked for Cavalli’s ‘Monteverdi’ workshop. Established independently. Produced good personal model of compact proportions. Also made student grade instruments for sale through the firm of Bottali Roth & Pelitti. Prolific numbers of violins, violas, cellos, and double basses, most with dark red or deep golden-brown varnish. Some copies of classical instruments.
