Sohn von Gg. und Apollonia Ott; aus Füssen eingewandert, liess er sich in
Prag als Lauten- und Geigenmacher nieder, heirathete dort am 26. April 1648
Barbara, die Tochter des Math. Maidl von Plan und erwarb 1660 (gleichzeitig
mit seinem Sohne Anton) das
Bürgerrecht auf der Prager Kleinseite. Eine Viola von ihm aus dem Jahre 1657 ist im Besitze der St. Veitskirche in Prag.
