PAJEOT, Louis Simon Born 1759 Grenoble, died 1804 Mirecourt France. Bow maker. Some violins of trade quality also attributed to him. Apprenticed in Mirecourt. Active from c.1780. Various grades of work; usually octagonal sticks. Work rarely branded: ‘PAJEOT . AMT’ [Millant/Raffin]
