PANORMO, George Louis Born 1814, died 1877 London UK. Son of George Panormo, above. Assistant and successor to his uncle Louis, below. Previously apprenticed to Cramer’s music shop. From 1848 he is listed in trade directories with his uncle as ‘George and Louis Panormo’. After 1854 instruments bear the name ‘G. L. Panormo’. Moved to 87 St John’s Street in 1855, then to 37 Whitfield Street, Tottenham Court Road from 1877. The business continued to specialise in guitars and bows. G.
