Adolf Wilhelm Eduard Born 1874 Markneukirchen, died 1948 Leipzig. Son and pupil of Karl Vitus Paulus, below. Worked for Bausch & Sons at Leipzig. Later succeeded to the business. Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Er war erst zwei Jahre lang Schüler seines Vaters Karl Vitus P. und kam
dann zu Bausch jun. Seit 1860 Mitarbeiter von Bausch und seinen Söhnen,
übernahm er 1873 die Werkstatt, die er unter der alten Firma fortführte. Er arbeitete nach italienischen Vorbildern und nach eigenem Modell, verwandte einen goldgelben, weichen Lack und, wich in der Stimmsetzung, sowie im Bassbalken von anderen Geigenmachern ab. Auch die Ausarbeitung von Decke und Boden berechnete er nach einem eigenen System.
