Some of their instruments are excellent as regards workmanship and tone, and ought to be diligently sought and carefully kept. I saw one years ago at Fishguard, which was on the grand Stradivari model, with golden red varnish, and a sweet, liquid tone. No doubt it has found its way to some dust heap long ago.

A maker in Dublin about 1757 to 1827. A large cither is known, and a cither-viol labelled : “Made by Thomas Perry, Dublin, 1767 He was in partnership with William Wilkinson, and they turned out very well made violins of good tone.
