John Dilworth
PICO, Jean Born 1880 Algiers Algeria Studied in Mirecourt, Germany. Established in Algiers from 1921. Produced over 100 violins, three violas, four cellos, and several bows. Fine work. Very well received in his own time. Offered to ‘improve’ other violins with his own varnish. Brand on instruments and bows: ‘J.Pico’
