POSTACCHINI, Raphael Born 1823, died 1892 Fermo Italy. Son, pupil, and assistant of Andrea Postacchini, above. Subsequently joined the priesthood, but continued making violins as an amateur. Most of his work bears his father’s label, but some labels are known in which he is identified as ‘Andrea filius’
