John Dilworth

PRELL, Hermann Wilhelm Born 1875 Plesná (Fleissen) Czech Republic, died 1925 Markneukirchen Germany. Bow maker. Pupil of A. Nurnberger (and, according to Henley, of H. Hoyer). Worked for Sartory in Paris 1897. Established in Markneukirchen from 1898. Succeeded by his son, above. Fine handiwork. Both round and octagonal sticks. Branded: HERM. W. PRELL
