Eine Altviola aus der Boers’schen Sammlung im Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam trägt diesen Namen. In Hamburg liess sich ein Geigen- und Lautenmacher D. Raetzen nicht nachweisen. Gleichwohl gehört er zu den besten Hamburger Meistern und kommt den Italienern sehr nahe. Lack und Arbeit sind sehr schön.
