Er stand wahrscheinlich in fürstbischofl. salzburgischen Diensten. Eine Geige von ihm befindet sich im städtischen Museum Carolino-Augusteum in Salzburg. Ob er mit dem gleichnamigen Mannheimer Meister identisch ist, was der Zeit nach nicht unmöglich wäre, will ich nicht entscheiden.
