Vielleicht des Prater Sebastian R.’s Sohn. Er verheirathete sich am 13. Januar 1739 mit Anna Kath. Webs in Komotau und hatte drei Söhne und drei Töchter Seine Geigen sind nach der Form gemacht, die Wölbung nach Stainer, der Öllack von gelbbrauner Farbe, der Ton ansprechend und gut. Das Stift Ossegg besitzt eine Geige von ihm. (Kat. Nr. 28.)
