Das Musikhistorische Museum in Stockholm bewahrt ein Violoncell und eine Violine von ihm aus dem Besitze der Landes-Universität. Hauptsächlich scheint er Händler gewesen zu sein, und so wird er in den Acten des kgl. preuss. Staatsarchivs, die seine Zollbefreiung in den Jahren 1792—1796 behandeln, auch nur als »musikalischer Instrumentenhändler« bezeichnet.
