John Dilworth
ROCKWELL, Harry Victor Born 1878 Houlton, Maine, died 1951 Providence, Rhode Island USA. Son and pupil of Joseph H. Rockwell, below. Also trained with his uncle David Bailey Rockwell, above. Worked with his father in Boston and Providence, taking over the business in 1930. More than 250 violins, violas, and cellos on classical Italian models. Personal model from 1922. Branded with initials beneath endpin.
