Schüler seines Vaters Fr. Wilh. Sch. Liess sich 1896 in Chemnitz nieder und verlegte 1898 seinen Wohnsitz nach Lobtau. Er copirt Stradivari, Amati und Stainer und verwendet meistens einen gelbbraunen Spiritus- (manchmal auch Öl-)lack.
