Willibald Leo Lütgendorff+
Schüler seines Vaters Fr. W. Sch. Bevor er sich im Jahre 1881 in Frankfurt a./O. als Geigenmacher und Reparateur niederliess, arbeitete er bei Louis Otto in Düsseldorf. Seine Geigen sind nach italienischen Modellen gemacht und mit einem selbstverfertigten, durchsichtigen Öllack (meist röthlichgelb oder mahagonifarbig) überzogen. Eigenthümlich ist ihm eine innen und aussen angewandte Grundirung die er alten Vorbildern nachahmt, und der er grosse tonbildende Kraft zuschreibt. Er ist ein Urenkel Friedr. Aug. Gläsel’s.
