Worked in Spokane, Washington c.1940, and Chicago from 1952, employed by William Lewis amongst others. Moved again to Phoenix, Arizona 1957 and finally to San Jose 1958. Established his own shop 1962. Credited with 228 violins, 27 violas, and 21 cellos. Stradivari and Guarneri models with oil-spirit varnish. Completed 100 bows. [Wenberg]
