SEELOS (SELLAS, SELLOS, SELUS), Georg Born circa. 1580 Füssen Germany, died 1668 Innsbruck Austria Active in Kaltern 1644-1646. Later returned to Füssen. Ein geschickter Meister, von dem eine kleine Viola da Gamba auf der von der holländischen Gesellschaft »Pulchri studio« 1893 veranstalteten Ausstellung zu sehen war. Er schrieb seinen Namen auch Sellos, und es ist daher nicht ganz unmöglich, dass die Sellas in Venedig zu seiner Familie gehörten, um so mehr, als auch dort ein Georgius Sellas vorkommt.
