Er gehörte einer bekannten Orgelbauerfamilie an und ist mir selbst auch nur als Orgelbauer bekannt. Doch war er geschworner Meister der Lautenmacherzunft für 1749 und später Syndikus; auch finde ich Geigen von ihm in englischen Händlerverzeichnissen ausgeboten. Seine Witwe, die Pont au Change wohnte, führte das Geschäft von 1776—1783 fort.
