Einer der besten deutschen Meister seiner Zeit in Franken, von dem noch hübsche Lauten und Geigen aller Art vorkommen. Zwei hübsche Lauten von ihm (eine aus der Sammlung Snoeck) sind in der Berliner kgl. Sammlung (No. 704). Der eine Vorname kommt auf Zetteln auch Winceslaus und der Familienname Stautinger geschrieben vor.
