Worked for the Salt Lake City Music Company finishing and varnishing prefabricated instruments. Established independently from 1959. Awards at the Violin Society of America competitions 1978, 1978-80 and 1982, also at Kassel, Germany 1983. 1716 Stradivari ‘Messie’ violin and personal models. Over 400 instruments completed using Michelman varnish and mostly prefabricated parts. About 46 instruments made entirely by hand. Bow maker since 1966.
