John Dilworth
THIRIOT (TIRIOT), Joseph Born circa. 1750, died 1786 Mirecourt France. Founder of an important business later taken over by Laberte et Magnié. His own work is typical of Mirecourt: large flat model with yellow varnish. Branded internally: ‘Tiriot / A Paris’ or ‘Thiriot / A La Ville/ De Cremone’. Manuscript label: Tiriot / A Paris
